I was just in a Westin hotel in Costa Mesa california, I understand that if available, upon request as gold member i can have an upgrade in my room without cost. I was charged for it, but first it was denied to me! The lady at the desk -jaqueline-was absolutely in a bad mood and was william who gave us the upgrade, but I was charged for it. This is the first time since Im a member that I ask for an upgrade in my room and basically was denied to me!!! I dont think it was fair! I will contact the martiott bonvoy and put a complaint with them!!

Absurd charge from Westin Hotel

Absurd charge from Westin Hotel
Westin Phoenix assessed a separate charge of .03 and never sent an invoice/receipt or an explanation for such. I had to call only to find out from the very patient CS person that it happened to quite a few customers but that it was done just to zero out the bill. How many resources were used on this issue that could have been spared if they just absorbed the three cents.

Lost ski equipment

I lost a week of skiing because the valet at Westin lost our equipment it took them 2 days to find it . They purchased new custom boots for my guest cause they lost her custom boots But I lost a week of skiing . It take me two years of maintenance fees for this one week and they refused to give me any compensation The manager Chris said I more than received compensation from the cost of the boots they had to replace . I feel like I was treated like crap. Still waiting for a call back from the general manager Doubt that will ever come

Stolen car

I stayed at a Westin Hotel in Downtown Columbus Great Southern. I valeted

Parked for two days, May 19-20.

My car

was broken into and stolen out of your

Garage. How that was possible Ill never

Know.In the middle of our wedding dinner

Police came right into the event took us

out to the kitchen with the whole wedding

Watching. Told us our car was stolen and

wrote a report up in the kitchen. I live in Pittsburgh.

The next morning I had to

go to Columbus airport, get a rental car to

drive back to Pittsburgh.The Columbus

Westin Will not come up any compensation.

How can that be possible.

Really, I thought

Westin was way better than that!

My car should have never left the garage.

Thats why you pay for Valet parking.

Unless there is criminal activity at your

Garage. Whats your opinion.

I have spent over 1 hour trying to contact the Frenchmans Reef Resort in St. Thomas. I was given a direct number to the hotel to call. I did and went through 3-4 more minutes of bull before a representative answered. She was NOT even at the hotel! She said their lines must be busy. There is NO place on my reservation to make special requests. There is NO email to contact anyone at the hotel. This is all corporate bull and outrageous,

Issue with payment system

Westin - Issue with payment system
The system kept declining the payment after being on the phone with the bank and being told there is no issue with the card by the bank. The agent was charging more than the verbally stated amount. The manage was of no assistance. The agent that o spoke with was very rude and unhelpful

Cancellation

Booked and not able to get the room as of reservations need to cancel instead of being charged to my card I was unsuccessful with speaking to guest services I booked and needed to cancel immediately Im looking at the policy and it stated before 11:59 pm I called before the time.

Rudeness

Zabrilelle at the Westin in Jackson MS on 407 South Congress was Rude and missed up the convience fee. She madr checking us in a issue. She had me put my card in the card reader, she rudly came over and pulled the card out and told him you dont do it that way. Then, made me use a different card saying that card was declined. I had to go thru accounting to get that fee back. She was also rude to other guests. I will not ever stay with that location again. There is too much competition and complications with her at the front desk.

Terrible Stay

noisy hotel - could hear toilets flushing, the people above me being intimate, a dog barking every morning at 4AM and doors slamming at all hours. Housekeeping never showed up so I had to go to the front desk for towels. Bed was VERY uncomfortable and the duvet cover was dirty. I was really excited to stay at this hotel but will never stay again.
