Theft from room!

I recently had a 3 night stay at the Westin Ft. Lauderdale, I had a designer handbag in my room and it was taken during my stay.

User's recommendation: don't leave valuable items in your room.

Anthony Styles ,,,, Kia Hill-styles,,,, life time members of the Marriott brand,, bon Voy card holders!! When u think of the Westin ,,, u think first class!! But it is time to reinvest in the San Antonio river walk ,, the carpets are worn,,, a lot needs some paint!! The elevators brass inside I needs to be replaced ,,, its same stuff since 2011,,, had a bad experience wit parking ,,&;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; had a to pay over 100 plus tips for just parking; they where not flexible,,, in their parking racket!! Parcel tracking

Kindly need your urgent assistance to track and update the status of a standard mail parcel that should be addressed to Mr Marjan Petrovski. The standard mail is from the Australian Government, from Canberra ACT. The parcel has left from Australia tracking 3 weeks ago, however no tracking details has been provided. it should be 2 standard mail parcels to received by Mr Marjan. He is staying with us currently in room 1311 and he is expecting it very urgently. Please let us know as soon as possible as Mr Marco needs the document for his lawsuit case submission

Adjustment

Hello so i book this past monday 02/15/2021 thru 02/17/2021 at the westin hotel room#1125. Issue started by the hotel not cleaning our room next day. Also afterwards in the afternoon I and my wife went out and came back and there was 4 roaches around the tv area. We literally packed our things and left. This was supposed to be our Valentine's mini vacation. Tryed going to frong desk but they were completely booked with people. I sent a email with the Issue and no response. Called the property multiple times and they dont response.

Terrible experience no consideration for it

This is by far one of the worst hotels stays that we have ever had. We dealt with inconsiderate staff the smell of marijuana in our room a dirty shower and a mattress that made us wake up with a backache because the mattress was so lumpy that we woke up every hour. It was my fiance's birthday and we thought it would be nice to spend the weekend in a great hotel but we made the wrong choice by going to the westin. We were going to just never visit again but decided instead to share our experiences with someone who can make it better for the next guest. Very disappointed. If this is the kind of service you offer your guests then I won't be the last one to have such an experience. We feel that for what we paid we deserved a better experience.

Wait time for our room...45 minutes!

On Thursday September 20 we had reservations at the Element Hotel, Times Square,New York City for two nights. When we arrived at midnight, about 12 people from Venezuela had come in just before us. There was only ONE person at the desk. He spent 45 minutes checking all of the people from Venezuela before accommodating the other dozen or so people who were waiting for their rooms! The night manager came down at some point to answer a question someone had but did nothing to help the many people who were waiting to get their rooms. We did not get into our room until 1:00 in the morning. The room was very small, had one chair, and the bathroom had no towel racks. The breakfast buffet was lovely, the best part of the hotel.

There was no excuse for a delay of 45 minutes to get our room. You are making excuses for poor quality of service.

I realize hotels cannot have a lot of people at the desk but the fact that the manager came to answer questions, saw a crowd of people and did nothing to help was poor judgment. Linda Lucas

Late at night in any hotel there will be a minimum of employees at the front desk. When alot of people come in it causes delays---as was your case.

Hotels cannot keep an excess of employees on the clock "just in case." You do have a valid complaint if the night manager failed to pitch in and help the lone front clerk.

That's bad management. Find the corporate website for Westin and complain about this location and, specifically the night manager.

Terrible Christmas

My fiancé and I stayed for Christmas Day and thought it would be cute to open our gifts in the hotel and grab some dinner later that night. Upon arriving the man behind the desk asked my fiancé if he was dropping of the gifts to someone within the hotel. When we told him we were checking in he laughed and said "my bad brother". The next day before checking out we got stuck in the elevator which was scary. We arrived at the front desk to check out and asked if we could leave our luggage behind the desk while we picked up the car and grabbed lunch. The man behind the desk asked if we were guests (really??) ... Prior to leaving we grabbed take out and I went to grab the car while my fiancé waited at the hotel with our luggage. The man behind the desk walked up to him and asked to see his room key. Most uncomfortable feeling in the world is to spend hard earned money somewhere and be racially profiled. Never staying at this hotel again. They have no idea how to treat people.
